Barro's Pizza

Now let's get this straight, pizza is my krytonite. I LOVED a spongey, warm, beautifully tastey wheat crust in my former life, however, I know this is not going to happen these days. So I decided that I would give Barro's Pizza's gluten free crust a whirl.

I heard through the grapevine about it and decided when the cravings hit, I would give in. This is what I invisioned:

However this is NOT what you get, at all...

In fact, I have three main points I want to hit on this pizza...

First:
They only come in a small. So, if you are feeding a gluten free family, and not just a gluten free girl, you are going to be spending A LOT of money.

Second:
They really pile on the toppings and cheese. This is okay if you are not on a health kick, however if you are counting your calories, you are in trouble. But mostly this is due to point three...

Third:
The crust tastes HORRIBLE!!! It is corn mealish. Very crumblely and grainy, and not soft and fluffy at all. I guess if thin crust is your thing... ENJOY... but if you are like me and love your pizza, this is just sacreligious.

It is now my mission to build a better crust. I want something that will come out soft and fluffy. If any one has any recomendations, please post them.
